Scamorza is an Italian, spun-paste cow’s milk cheese belonging to the pasta filata family. Shaped similar to provolone in a pear shape, it is a semi-soft white cheese with a texture comparable to that of a firm, dry Mozzarella. The texture of Scamorza is elastic and stringy with piquant, milky and creamy flavours. Smoked Scamorza has a subtle, smoky flavour with a sweet, light caramel note. From our own Liuzzi Cheese!

A quick packaging note: we pack pastry in double boxes. We place the bakery box inside of a stronger shipping box to protect them. It is a snug fit and we DO NOT recommend trying to remove the bakery box from the outer box because the pastry may be damaged. Instead, open the outer box, cut the twine on the inner bakery box and open the lid to remove the pastry.
