A quick packaging note: we pack pastry in double boxes. We place the bakery box inside of a stronger shipping box to protect them. It is a snug fit and we DO NOT recommend trying to remove the bakery box from the outer box because the pastry may be damaged. Instead, open the outer box, cut the twine on the inner bakery box and open the lid to remove the pastry.

Petonito’s Chocolate Lemon Tarts- 4 pcs.
Petonito's Pastry Shop in East Haven has always had a wonderful Chocolate Lemon Pie on its menu and they also make a "hand-held" version in a tart. These little tarts of fudgy, lemony goodness come in a flaky, sweet crust. These two flavors go wonderfully together and make a great dessert or coffee accompaniment. 4 pieces to a box. They are the size of full sized pastry.
Note: Our tarts come double boxed for protection. Don't try and lift the inner box out of the outer box or you may crush the tarts. Instead, cut the string and open the inner box, then remove the tarts. Thanks!
